Solana Historical Society is a digital archive documenting the history of Solana NFTs, with a focus on the events and communities that shaped the ecosystem in 2021. Its central offering is a month-by-month catalog covering NFT collections, marketplaces, infrastructure, network outages, cultural developments, and milestones. Each record cites its sources and is labeled as verified, unverified, or disputed, helping readers distinguish established evidence from claims that remain uncertain.

The archive also includes a prelude covering the origins of Solana NFTs from 2017 to 2020, an indexed directory of related entities, and a timeline that can be explored by month or filtered by category and verification status. A dedicated section orders early collections by their first on-chain mint, including projects such as Kreechures, Solarians, SolPunks, and Degenerate Ape Academy. The organization explains its research methods and provides references for individual records, making the site a source-focused resource for tracing NFT history on Solana rather than a marketplace or collection launch platform
