Sòlas Natural Burial

Sòlas Natural Burial Preserve is Wisconsin's premier destination for environmentally friendly burials, recognized by the Green Burial Council as a certified Natural Burial Cemetery. Dedicated to promoting sustainable practices, Sòlas offers an alternative to conventional burials by forbidding the use of embalming, synthetic materials, and traditional caskets. Instead, burials are marked with native plants, trees, and GPS coordinates, ensuring a natural return to the earth. The name "Sòlas," meaning "light" in Gaelic, reflects the preserve's mission to honor life while minimizing environmental impact.

Customers can conveniently reserve burial plots, choose from a range of add-ons such as trees and shrouds, and even reserve shelter for services through their online platform. With a focus on reducing pollution and offering significant cost savings compared to traditional funerals, Sòlas provides a compassionate choice for families seeking a meaningful farewell that leaves no ecological footprint. Join Sòlas in transforming the burial experience into a respectful and environmentally conscious process.
