Verein Primavera, also known as Sol de Primavera or Spring Sun, is a social project based in Quito, Ecuador. The name symbolizes new life and hope, reflecting the organization's mission to provide education and psychosocial support primarily to disadvantaged youth in Quito's marginalized neighborhoods. Sol de Primavera also focuses on social and community work within these communities.

Over the past two years, the project has intensified its efforts in women's empowerment, specifically collaborating with women affected by sexual and/or domestic violence and challenging everyday situations. The organization is staffed entirely by Ecuadorians, with financial and operational support from Switzerland. Sol de Primavera creates spaces for shared learning and mutual growth, fostering critical reflection and empowering young people to expand their opportunities for active participation.

Through collaborative learning involving families and the neighborhood population, the organization aims to reimagine social reality and mitigate exclusion and inequality, promoting a inclusive and solidarity-based coexistence. As part of their 25-year anniversary celebration in 2022, Sol de Primavera has produced a new documentary film that provides an authentic and up-to-date insight into the project.
