About Sold Secure
Sold Secure is a renowned brand that specializes in the assessment of security products to reduce the risk of crime. Established in 1992 by Northumbria and Essex Police with the support of the Home Office, Sold Secure is now owned and managed by the Master Locksmiths Association. These approved products bear the prestigious Sold Secure Approved quality mark, indicating their satisfactory assessment and superior security standards. Sold Secure offers four levels of theft resistance - Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond.
Each level corresponds to a different type of attack, tools used, and time spent during the attack. The Diamond level represents the highest level of theft resistance, including protection against the most destructive attacks. Crime Prevention Officers, Insurance Companies, the Home Office, and the public all benefit from the information on approved products circulated by Sold Secure.
