Solebrothers

Sole Brothers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underserved young people through athletic footwear, sports, and educational assistance. Started as a youth community-service shoe drive in 2010, it grew into a 501(c)(3) organization co-founded in 2013. Its primary focus is collecting gently worn athletic shoes and distributing them to people in need, helping young athletes take part in sports with appropriate footwear. The organization also offers coaching, mentoring, and individual basketball skill training through club travel teams, and provides financial assistance for children’s athletic and recreational opportunities.

Sole Brothers currently awards small scholarships to students accepted to four-year colleges or universities, with the goal of eventually covering a full year of college. It welcomes shoe and monetary donations, which support its programs and can help expand its reach. The organization’s broader vision is to provide shoes, teach basketball skills, and mentor young people nationally and internationally. Through community partnerships and volunteer support, Sole Brothers aims to make a practical difference in young people’s lives, one pair of shoes and one opportunity at a time.
