Solidarietà Fattiva

Solidarietà Fattiva ODV is a volunteer, nonprofit organisation based in Ravenna, Italy, supporting people with intellectual and other disabilities. Founded in 1997 by parents of young people with disabilities, the association works to improve participants’ cognitive, relational and motor skills, promote equal opportunities, and support the best possible quality of life.

Its activities include projects that develop independence, leisure outings, social connection initiatives, basketball, summer skills programmes and cooking workshops. The organisation also offers individual and small-group psychoeducational support, animal-assisted activities and integrated horse riding. Alongside these programmes, Solidarietà Fattiva raises community awareness about disability through information and training, advocating for people’s rights and dignity.

The association invites the public to support its work through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax donation, direct bank contributions, membership and active volunteering. It operates from Viale della Lirica in Ravenna and shares information about its activities, news and ways to get involved through its website and contact channels.
