Solinfo (Solidarité, Intervention & Formation) is an independent French humanitarian organisation founded in 2002 and based in Paris. Run by volunteers and volunteer experts, it works with local NGOs and community initiatives to support young people and other vulnerable groups affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and natural disasters. Its approach combines technical, financial and practical support for local partners with programmes shaped around community needs.
Solinfo’s work focuses primarily on Bangladesh, Côte d’Ivoire, Iraq, Mozambique and Syria, with initiatives also described in Burundi. Its programmes include free digital and office-skills training, vocational education, psychosocial support, art-therapy workshops, school support, health consultations, hygiene and nutrition education, and assistance to local medical services. Activities range from improving young people’s employability in Bangladesh to supporting displaced children in Mozambique and expanding healthcare access in Côte d’Ivoire.
The organisation aims to strengthen local humanitarian capacity and young people’s resilience. It is apolitical and non-religious, and is funded mainly by private donors, patrons, foundations and companies, alongside some institutional support.
