The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is the Membership Organisation for London Theatre Producers, Managers, Owners, and Operators. Together with our sister organization, UK Theatre, we strive to create a dynamic, sustainable, and world-class theater sector. Our mission is to champion theater and support our members to thrive.

To achieve our vision, we have three priority focus areas. Firstly, we aim to grow a united and engaged membership, with a skilled, diverse, and productive workforce for the present and future. Secondly, we aim to inspire, attract, retain, and diversify theater audiences.

And finally, we advocate for and support growth across the sector, backed by robust evidence. SOLT offers a range of services to our members, including employment relations, legal support, audience development, theater ticketing, and access campaigns. We are also actively involved in industry news, careers, awards, and resources, covering topics such as diversity and inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, and sustainability.
