Soltara

Soltara is a holistic retreat brand based on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, where rainforest meets the Pacific Ocean. Its oceanfront sanctuaries at Scarlet Valley and Playa Blanca host five- and seven-night retreats centered on Shipibo-led ceremonies and supported by modern clinical care. Programs include medical screening, integration circles, full-board accommodation, and guidance from preparation through the period after guests return home.

Soltara’s approach combines traditional plant knowledge with structured safety and personal support. Guests are reviewed by a medical team before arrival, while a doctor and psychologically trained facilitators remain on site throughout each retreat. Dedicated facilitators help participants set intentions and navigate their experience. Preparation guidance covers diet, lifestyle, and reflection, and post-retreat support includes integration calls, a private community, and ongoing resources.

The retreats take place in an oceanfront setting with open-air malocas and space for rest and reflection. Soltara also offers discovery calls to help prospective guests assess whether a retreat is suitable, along with flexible rescheduling options.
