SolVert is a brand that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and society. Established in 2007, SolVert, formerly known as Mali Biocarburant, has been working in Burkina Faso since 2009. They collaborate with a federation of 4,000 women who harvest inedible oilseeds, such as balanites, baobab, jatropha, hibiscus, ximenia, neem, and moringa.

One of their main products is neem, which they sell as a biopesticide and biofertilizer, contributing to regenerative agriculture in Burkina Faso. SolVert also partners with local farmers who provide them with various oilseeds. These smallholders are not only suppliers but also shareholders in the company, ensuring fair pricing.

Through their business model, SolVert promotes social inclusion, biodiversity conservation, and provides decent jobs and increased income for women collectors and farmers. They have already planted millions of trees with thousands of smallholder farmers, and their latest initiative aims to continue regreening the Sahel in Burkina Faso through tree planting.
