Soma Heat

Soma is a smart heating-control brand for schools, offices, care facilities and other public buildings. Its system helps make existing heating installations more efficient, with claimed heating-cost savings of up to 35% and no renovation or upfront investment. Soma’s service is offered as a single monthly subscription covering installation, maintenance and support, designed to cost less than the energy savings achieved.

At the centre of the system is a compact hub that works with smart radiator valves, sensors and heating schedules. It learns how quickly individual rooms warm up and cool down, then uses weather forecasts and occupancy patterns to adjust heating in advance and avoid unnecessary heat. Customers can view system performance and results by room through an online portal.

Soma offers a free energy scan and an online suitability check to estimate a building’s potential savings. Its process runs from an initial enquiry and assessment through installation to ongoing savings, without building work or interruption.
