Southern Maryland Volleyball Club (SOMDVBC) is a youth volleyball organization focused on providing dedicated players with a competitive, age-appropriate team experience. The club’s vision combines structured practices with opportunities to compete at the highest level appropriate for each age group. Alongside developing the tactical aspects of team play, SOMDVBC uses volleyball to encourage fair play, self-confidence, and good citizenship.
The club offers teams for players across multiple age divisions, with tryouts for its 2026–2027 season scheduled by age group. Its program is supported by clinics, practice sessions, and competitive games, giving players opportunities to build skills and participate in team play. Families can find season and team information, tryout details, a calendar, and a photo gallery through the club’s website. The site also links to the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association and USA Volleyball, and provides contacts for the club director and parent liaison. SOMDVBC serves the Southern Maryland volleyball community through its youth teams and related player-development activities.
