SOMEC is an Italian bicycle brand based in Sant’Agata sul Santerno, in the Romagna region, where cycling has a strong tradition. Its story began in 1973, when local cycling enthusiast Oliviero Gallegati started building made-to-measure racing bicycles. Today, SOMEC focuses on handcrafted road and gravel bicycles and frames, combining Italian design with performance-oriented materials and technology.
The collection includes custom-fit road frames in carbon, titanium and steel, as well as carbon monocoque road models and gravel bikes made from carbon or steel. Featured models include Divino, Diablo, Matrix, Multistrade, Magnus, Iron, Rex and Top Class. Customers can request a quote and use the brand’s configurator to create a distinctive bicycle color scheme from a wide range of combinations. SOMEC also highlights its Honeycomb (HYC) tubing technology and custom frame construction. Through its website, the company presents its collections, technical information, news and contact details, helping riders explore its models and inquire about a bicycle suited to their preferences.
