Som Energia

Som Energia is a not-for-profit energy cooperative that promotes a fairer, more sustainable energy model through renewable electricity and responsible consumption. Based in Europe, it invites people and organisations to become members and take part in the energy transition. The cooperative offers electricity tariffs for households and businesses, with transparent pricing, and provides contract management services such as changing the account holder, adjusting contracted power or voltage, and ending a supply.

Members can also explore ways to produce renewable energy. Som Energia supports self-generation, including solar installations, shared self-consumption projects and energy communities, and works with producers and organisations. Its Generation kWh initiative pools member contributions to build and manage renewable generation projects, offering participants access to 100% renewable electricity at a stable price. The cooperative also develops and operates renewable energy installations and provides services for businesses and other organisations. Through membership, investment in clean-energy projects, and practical options for consuming or producing renewable power, Som Energia works to transform the current energy system through collective action.
