Somerset Farms is a Queensland harness racing and breeding operation established by Pete and Chantal McMullen in 2012. Located on an 81-acre property at Patrick Estate in the Somerset region, west of Brisbane, the farm is about an hour from the city and positioned between Brisbane and Toowoomba. It has developed into a harness racing training centre and offers services focused on breeding and stallion management.
The farm’s stallion program features A Rocknroll Dance, a son of Rocknroll Hanover and a high-level racehorse whose career earnings reached $2.4 million. His achievements included major wins as a two- and three-year-old, including the Meadowlands Pace and the $500,000 Battle of Brandywine. Somerset Farms has announced that he would stand at the farm in Queensland for the breeding season.
