Sommant Horse Team is an equestrian centre based in Sommant, in France’s Morvan region, where horse riding and outdoor exploration are at the heart of its work. Run by Amélie and Jean, the team welcomes riders, travellers and horse lovers for guided and independent riding holidays, weekends and other equestrian activities. Its programme includes rides lasting two to five days and longer journeys, with routes through the Morvan, the Cévennes, Alsace, Burgundy and the Fontainebleau forest.
Guests can explore lakes, vineyards, castles and historic sites, or take part in endurance riding and TREC activities. Sommant Horse Team offers horse hire and also welcomes riders who bring their own horses. The centre provides training related to horses, including ATE training, and offers accommodation through its A Hue et A Dia guest rooms.
The team highlights its experienced staff, friendly atmosphere and quality horses, many raised at home and developed with endurance riding in mind
