SOMNOLOGIKUM

SOMNOLOGIKUM is an interdisciplinary sleep medicine centre serving patients at the North Sea coast and beyond. Accredited by the German Society for Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine (DGSM), it focuses on diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, including sleep apnoea and snoring. Its team of medical specialists, psychologists and therapists provides individual, holistic care designed to support healthier, more restorative sleep.

The centre’s diagnostic services include polygraphy and polysomnography, delivered through a structured, staged assessment process and supported by sleep laboratories at its locations. Treatment options include CPAP therapy, mandibular advancement splints, and behavioural and lifestyle changes. SOMNOLOGIKUM also offers a private sleep-laboratory service at the Strandgut Resort in St. Peter-Ording, with an optional €250 contribution per night for hotel-style comfort and no waiting time.

Patients begin through a central online registration service, followed by appointment coordination. SOMNOLOGIKUM operates four locations in List on Sylt, Niebüll, St. Peter-Ording and Hamburg. The centre also provides professional development in sleep medicine, with full specialist training authorisation at its Niebüll and St. Peter-Ording sites.
