About Somos
SOMOS is a collaborative effort of various projects and programs aimed at enhancing Southern Costa Rica. Our team focuses on sustainable development, community security, and social enterprise to create resilient communities. Meet the individuals shaping our initiatives:
Ana MarÃa Camacho, our Executive Director, brings over 15 years of experience in high-impact environmental projects. Travis Bays, Co-founder and Vice President, is a community development catalyst with a passion for innovation. Noilyn Ramírez, Co-founder and Treasurer, advocates for environmental conservation and cultural heritage. Laura Ruiz, Co-founder and Secretary, champions community causes and serves as a strong voice on our board. Michelle Coffey, a Board Member, contributes her expertise from her role at the Costa Rica USA Foundation.
