Sonder Celebrations

Sonder Celebrations is the celebrant service of Katie, an authorised marriage celebrant who helps people mark life’s meaningful milestones with personal, thoughtfully crafted ceremonies. Inspired by the idea that everyone has a rich and complex story, Katie takes time to understand each client and create an occasion that reflects their personalities, relationships and wishes.

The service offers ceremonies for weddings and elopements, as well as vow renewals, naming ceremonies, memorials and other celebrations. Couples can choose a short and simple format, a more elaborate event, or work with Katie to shape an approach that feels right for them. She guides clients through the process, listens closely to what matters to them and helps manage practical details, including paperwork for weddings.

Client feedback highlights Katie’s warm, easygoing manner, personal approach and ability to make planning feel relaxed and enjoyable. Her ceremonies are described as heartfelt, distinctive and true to the people being celebrated.
