Sonnenwald Alpakas

Sonnenwald Alpakas is a family-run alpaca farm in Schöfweg, in the Bavarian Forest, where visitors can get to know these gentle animals in a scenic natural setting. The farm introduces guests to alpacas, domesticated camelids originally from the Andean highlands, and offers relaxing walks with the animals as well as activities for children. These experiences provide an opportunity to spend time outdoors and learn about the animals at close range. The farm is also home to friendly dwarf goats, which share a home with the alpacas and enjoy attention from visitors.

Sonnenwald Alpakas has an on-site shop selling products made from alpaca wool. Gift vouchers are available and can be redeemed for shop products or alpaca walks, making them suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, or other occasions. The farm publishes seasonal opening hours and also welcomes visitors by arrangement. For information, bookings, or voucher enquiries, guests can contact Anja Schneider by phone or email. Visitors can find the farm at Marienplatz 10, 94572 Schöfweg.
