Sonorgas

Sonorgas is a natural gas distribution company serving 34 municipalities across northern and inland Portugal. With a network connecting homes and businesses, the company focuses on meeting local needs and supporting the development of the communities it serves. Customers can check whether the network is available at their address and request a connection, join the regulated market online, submit meter readings, and find guidance on bills, payment methods and tariffs. Sonorgas also provides customer support through its website, customer area and telephone service.

The company presents gas as a practical complement to electricity, particularly in hybrid energy systems that combine gas with solutions such as heat pumps or solar thermal panels. These systems can provide hot water and heating during periods of cold weather or limited sunshine, while helping customers manage energy use and avoid oversized electrical installations. Sonorgas also highlights sustainability and innovation, including its interest in renewable gases and the energy transition.
