The Sooke Fine Arts Society presents Vancouver Island’s longest-running juried fine art show and a major summer arts event. Held each summer in Sooke, British Columbia, the 10-day exhibition gives artists from Vancouver Island and BC’s coastal islands the opportunity to showcase and sell their work. The Society organizes the show, including artist submissions, juried selection, awards, and public events, and will celebrate the exhibition’s 40th anniversary in 2026.
Visitors can explore a gallery of regional art, attend artist demonstrations, talks and tours, enjoy live music, and take part in activities for all ages. The program begins with a Purchasers’ Preview event, offering art lovers an early opportunity to view the exhibition. The Society also operates a Gallery Gift Shop and welcomes individual, student, and organizational members. Members receive Society updates, a complimentary show day-pass, and discounts at the gift shop and other local galleries and shops. Through donations and community programs, the Society supports access to the arts. The show takes place at SEAPARC Recreation Centre in Sooke.
