Sophia Sedlmeier

Sophia Sedlmeier – Pferdetraining mit Liebe und Verstand is an independent equine training and care business founded by Sophia Sedlmeier-Emmanuel, who has worked professionally with horses since 2019. Her approach combines horse education with physiotherapy and holistic gymnastic training, aiming to help horses and riders find a confident, cooperative way forward while keeping enjoyment central to the work.

Services include training for young horses, riding instruction, training and schooling on behalf of owners, groundwork, liberty work, bitless riding, and equine physiotherapy. Sophia also offers courses at clients’ stables. Her work considers how physical difficulties, inadequate gymnastic development, insecurity, or communication problems can contribute to everyday challenges such as bolting, pulling away, bucking, or reluctance.

The business emphasizes the horse’s wellbeing and development rather than training for its own sake, reflecting the principle that dressage should serve the horse. Sophia welcomes enquiries from horse owners seeking support with training, movement, or communication and provides contact by email and phone.
