Catholic University Softball

Sophie Mac Softball Camps offers player-focused softball instruction and campus experiences for athletes interested in developing their skills or exploring college softball. Hosted at Catholic University in Northeast Washington, DC, the camps are led by current coaches and players, giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from collegiate staff and student-athletes. Programs include one-day events such as winter skills and youth camps, with activities designed to build softball knowledge and provide hands-on practice.

Campers can also experience the university campus and learn more about college life and athletics. The camp program is led by Sophie Maccarone, Catholic University’s head softball coach and a former four-year player for the Cardinals. She joined the program as its first full-time head coach in 2023 after serving as a graduate assistant.

Families can view upcoming camps and register online, contact the organization by phone or email, and sign up for updates. Sophie Mac Softball Camps also invites feedback from families to help improve the camper experience
