Sorell Martial Arts Academy

Sorell Martial Arts Academy (SMAA) is a family-friendly martial arts studio located at 38B Gordon Street in Sorell. It offers classes for children and adults, welcoming complete beginners as well as experienced athletes. Training options include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai and kickboxing, alongside dedicated children’s programs for ages four and up. The academy’s accredited classes support a range of goals, from building fitness and confidence to developing skills for competition.

SMAA provides a safe environment for children, with instructors experienced in working with young people and current Working with Vulnerable People clearances. The gym is equipped with a matted training area, free weights, cardio equipment, boxing bags and training gear. Facilities include accessible toilets and showers, a changing area, and off-street parking, with additional free street parking nearby. The matted area is cleaned daily, and equipment is sterilised.
