Sørild Friidrettsklubb is an athletics club based in Grimstad, Norway, with a history of supporting the sport in its region since its founding in 1984. The club provides a community for people interested in athletics, offering opportunities to train and take part in club life. In 2017, Sørild moved into a new, modern athletics hall, giving members improved facilities and the opportunity to train throughout the year.

The club has grown substantially, increasing its membership from 100 in 2017 to 260 in 2025. This growth reflects rising interest in athletics and Sørild’s efforts to welcome and engage new participants. The website provides practical information for members, including training times, membership details, club records, news and contact information.

Sørild also invites supporters to contribute through Norway’s Grassroots Share scheme, which allows Norsk Tipping players to direct a portion of their play toward a chosen recipient without reducing their stake, prize or chance of winning. The club is located on Terje Løvåsvei in Grimstad.
