Sort Spids

Klubben for Sort Spids is a Danish breed club and specialist club under the Danish Kennel Club, dedicated to the Sort Spids, one of Denmark’s six national dog breeds. The club promotes knowledge, responsible breeding and activities for owners of these distinctive black spitz dogs. Its website provides information about the breed’s history, characteristics, standards, colours and activity needs, as well as guidance for prospective and current owners.

The club supports breeding through information on breeding approval, health and preparation for litters, pregnancy, birth and puppy care. People interested in a puppy can check for planned litters or dogs available for sale and contact the club for further details. Members and visitors can also find rehoming information, articles, documents, meeting records and guidance on membership.

Events include breed assessments, exhibitions and an annual gathering, supported by club sponsors. The club shares news and upcoming activities through its website, blog and social media, helping keep owners informed and connected.
