About Students Organizing for Sustainability International
SOS International is a global organization that empowers students and youth groups to take the lead in creating a more sustainable and just future. We work with student-led and student-focused organizations around the world to support impactful initiatives and drive systemic change. Our approach involves connecting, strengthening, and scaling initiatives to ensure they have a wider reach and greater impact.
We offer various programs, projects, and campaigns that can be easily adapted by organizations and countries. Additionally, we conduct research that leverages action to transform education and society towards sustainability. To further strengthen collaboration and capacity, we provide workshops, event facilitation, and consultancy services to organizations interested in sustainability or working with students and youth.
As a formal educational partner of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and an associate member of the Global Student Forum (GSF), we collaborate on advocacy programs and support students' unions in taking action on climate emergency and ecological crisis.
