About SOS Africa Charity
SOS Africa is a UK-based South African children's charity that is dedicated to providing education and care to disadvantaged children in African townships. With the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty, SOS Africa funds the education of these children, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. Through partnerships with local schools, SOS Africa offers comprehensive sponsorship programs that cover school tuition, transportation, uniforms, stationery, and more.
Additionally, SOS Africa operates education centers on school campuses, where sponsored children receive nutritious meals, homework support, mentoring, tutoring, counseling, and engage in various extracurricular activities. The holistic approach of SOS Africa fosters both educational and personal development, enabling children to reach their full potential. With the help of sponsors from around the world, SOS Africa has established four fully operational education centers, positively impacting the lives of hundreds of children.
By empowering children through education, SOS Africa is building a brighter future for South Africa and beyond
