SOS Autismo APS is an Italian association supporting people with autism and their families. Founded in 2011 by parents seeking practical help for families navigating the period after diagnosis, it developed into a multidisciplinary organization in 2019, bringing together healthcare, education and legal professionals. The association represents around 120 families and is registered in Italy’s National Single Register of the Third Sector.
Its services are designed to promote wellbeing, autonomy and inclusion through personalized, evidence-based support. These include an autism listening and guidance service for families and caregivers, an ABA Centre offering Applied Behavior Analysis interventions supervised by BCBA professionals, and Ludus ABA educational and recreational activities. SOS Autismo APS also provides cognitive rehabilitation, school support and tutoring, training and awareness programs, legal consultation, clown therapy, and home-based and school assistance focused on autonomy and communication.
The association develops social projects and works with local partners across the province of Trapani.
