Sosemtccrunclub

SOSEMT CC Run & Coffee Club is the social running club of Southend-on-Sea & EMT Cricket Club, welcoming cricket club members and the wider community. Free to join, it is open to all abilities, from people working toward their first 5K to experienced runners, with no pressure to maintain a particular pace. Runs start and finish at Golf. One, the club’s supporter and post-run coffee stop.

The club organizes an approximately 5K social loop around the cricket club and nearby park. Participants can run, jog or walk sections, while pace groups and back-markers help ensure nobody is left behind. Regular meet-ups are listed for Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, though times may change to accommodate cricket fixtures. Each gathering includes a warm-up, a shared route and time to relax over coffee and conversation afterward.

People can register for free to receive run schedules, route updates and occasional social news. The club also shares information, photos and updates through Instagram and its Strava community.
