Skøjte og Sportsforening Nord (SOS Nord) is an ice-skating club based in Frederikshavn, Denmark, with a vision of making skating accessible to people of all abilities, interests and ambitions. The club presents skating as more than competition: it also promotes physical activity, health and a welcoming sense of community.
SOS Nord offers a broad range of teams and activities for children, teenagers and adults, from skating school and beginner sessions to fitness training, weekend practice and groups for experienced skaters. Options include adult classes for both newcomers and returning skaters, as well as parasport and teams with selection requirements. Members can also take part in FunSkate, club, national and international competitions, seasonal activities and camps, including an autumn camp.
People considering joining can try their first two training sessions free and without obligation. Skate rental is available to members for a monthly fee, and the club can help newcomers find a suitable team. Registration for the 2026/27 season is open.
