S.O.Solidarietà onlus

S.O.Solidarietà is a nonprofit volunteer organization working in Italy and Nigeria since 2000. Its mission is to support people and communities facing poverty and social disadvantage through humanitarian, educational, health, environmental, and social initiatives. In Nigeria, the organization develops projects in education, healthcare, and agriculture, including vocational training, community gardens, and rural agro-enterprise. In Italy, its work addresses social issues such as poverty, immigration, support for older people and people with disabilities, non-formal education, environmental protection, recycling, and volunteer culture.

The organization invites individuals to contribute through donations, fundraising, 5x1000 tax allocations, and solidarity gifts. Its distance-support program connects donors with children living in difficult circumstances and helps cover school enrollment, uniforms, books, medical care, food, after-school learning, and recreational activities. Supporters receive updates about a child’s progress. S.O.Solidarietà also welcomes volunteers and supporters who want to take part in its work. The organization states that donations fund its humanitarian, environmental, health, educational, and social projects, with a portion of distance-support contributions allocated to awareness campaigns and operating costs.
