Soté Baby is a female- and minority-founded baby-care brand focused on reducing plastic and using thoughtfully selected materials. Founded by Mimi, whose background includes work on plastic pollution and global public health, the company offers bamboo viscose diapers and wipes designed with babies’ comfort and sensitive skin in mind. The diapers’ top and back sheets—the surfaces that touch a baby—are made from bamboo viscose, and the brand describes them as 100% plastic-free against the skin.

Soté Baby highlights absorbency for overnight use, independent screening for more than 1,000 harmful substances, and transparent information about materials, including those that are not yet plant-based. Its products have also received OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and Dermatest certifications, according to the site.
