ЗАО ФармФирма Сотекс is a pharmaceutical company with a rich history of excellence in production. Founded in 1999, Soteks initially focused on packaging and labeling finished pharmaceutical products for renowned Western manufacturers such as Nikomed, Lek, Pliva, and KRKA. This allowed the company to gain valuable experience in production and quality control that meets Western standards.

In 2005, Soteks became one of the first Russian companies to establish injection production in compliance with GMP EU requirements. The company also started licensed production of injection drugs in partnership with Nikomed in 2006. With a commitment to excellence, Soteks joined the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARFP) in 2007.

Over the years, Soteks has expanded its product portfolio and achievements. In 2008, they launched a line of pre-filled syringes for the production of genetically engineered drugs. In 2009, Soteks began exporting medicines to countries in the near and far abroad.

Recognition followed, as they entered the top-five leading Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers in 2010. The acquisition of 100% of the business and assets of AnviLab in 2011 significantly expanded their product portfolio. Soteks stands out with the successful launch of Chondrogard® in 2012, recognized as the most successful product in the Bone-Muscle System ATC group.

Their commitment to quality and efficiency is evident in their second-place ranking among domestic companies for the effectiveness of their pharmacovigilance system in 2013, according to the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare. Continuing on their journey of growth and innovation, Soteks doubled the volume of injection drugs production with the launch of their third production line for ampoule pharmaceuticals in 2015. They obtained the European GMP certificate for their ampoule production in 2016.

Demonstrating their expansion capabilities, the Protek Group completed the purchase of RaPharm in 2017. Soteks expanded its reach and made its first delivery to the European Union in 2018. The company's dedication to meeting international standards was rewarded with GMP EC certification from the Croatian Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices in 2019 for three production lines.

In 2020, Soteks ranked among the top-ten leading Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers, as recognized by Forbes magazine. Continuing their commitment to quality and innovation, Soteks obtained the GMP EAEU certificate in 2021. In 2022, they registered the original drug Tafalgin®.
