Soulful Glass Memorials

Soulful Glass Memorials is an artisan studio in Hazel Park, Michigan, creating handcrafted glass keepsakes to honor loved ones, including pets. Founded by glass artist Robyn Ochs, who has worked with glass for more than 15 years, the studio makes memorial orbs and hearts that incorporate a small amount of cremated ashes. Each piece is made individually with layers of colored and clear glass, creating a distinctive, lasting tribute that can be displayed at home.

Customers can choose from color combinations such as amethyst and pink ruby, meadow and moss green with sunshine yellow, or silver blue and copper blue, and may contact the artist to discuss custom colors. Memorials can also be engraved with an inscription of up to eight characters. Each item is unique, so slight differences in size, shape, color, and design are expected.

Orders are arranged by email, with ashes and a deposit collected at a studio appointment. About one tablespoon of ashes is needed per memorial, and creation usually takes around two weeks.
