About Soul Stage LA
Soul Stage LA is an innovative talent competition dedicated to showcasing the vibrant artistic spirit of the Los Angeles area. Focused on the genres of Dance, DJ-ing, and Vocal Arts, Soul Stage LA provides a unique platform for emerging artists to shine. With a mission that transcends cultural boundaries, the organization believes that soulfulness is the essence of human experience, reflecting struggles, triumphs, and creativity.
The competition takes place on the last Thursday of each month at various venues across Greater Los Angeles, featuring nine competitions each season. Contestants, who must be at least 18 years of age, can perform in three categories: Dance, DJ, and Singers/Bands, allowing for a wide range of musical styles including Hip-Hop, Soul, and R&B. Winners in each category receive a $1,000 prize, with opportunities to advance to a Grand Finale Festival for even greater rewards. Soul Stage LA invites all aspiring artists to submit their audition materials and join a community that celebrates creativity and talent.
