South Adams County Water is the largest combined Water and Sanitation District in the state of Colorado, covering over 65 square miles and serving nearly 70,000 customers. Established in 1951, the District has a rich history of providing water and wastewater services to the Commerce City area.

Recent developments have expanded the District's capabilities, including the addition of a 4000 acre-ft. water supply and the development of new water supplies capable of providing up to 27,000 acre-ft. of water per year.
