South Asian Heritage Trust is a UK charity dedicated to making British South Asian history and contributions an integral part of the country’s national story. Guided by the principles “Celebrate, Commemorate, Educate,” it works with communities and institutions to improve representation, preserve heritage and encourage lasting change.

Its flagship programme is South Asian Heritage Month, held each July, with events and resources for schools, workplaces, cultural organisations and communities. The Trust also offers facilitated Talking Circles, education initiatives, cultural programmes, public health partnerships focused on organ donation, and storytelling and archive projects that preserve lived experiences. Its work includes supporting workplace equity, strengthening public health inclusion and highlighting South Asian contributions to national history and remembrance.

Organisations can access toolkits, workplace guides, school learning materials, research and reports, or work with the Trust to book speakers and commission programmes. Individuals can share stories, attend events, volunteer or donate. The Trust also offers merchandise, including flags and pins, through its shop, and develops partnerships with organisations across Britain to extend the reach and impact of its work.
