About South Bend FEC
The South Bend Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) provides free, professional one-on-one financial counseling to residents of South Bend, Indiana. Located at the MLK Dream Center, the center supports people as they work toward their financial goals, with trained staff offering sessions in person, by phone, or through video chat. Its services cover banking, debt, savings, credit, and legacy planning, helping clients address a range of personal financial needs.
Both new and returning clients can schedule an appointment, and counseling is available without restrictions. The center’s listed hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a. m.
to 5 p. m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a. m.
to 8 p. m. ; on those later-opening days, the office closes at 5 p.
