South Calgary Ringette

South Calgary Ringette Association (SCRA) is a community sports organization in Calgary, Alberta, representing more than 425 young athletes in ringette, a fast-paced ice sport. The association offers programs across age groups, from Active Start and U10 through U19, with teams organized into competitive divisions. Its activities support players, goalies, coaches, parents, and team managers throughout the season.

SCRA provides registration information, evaluations, conditioning camps, a spring program, goalie development, practice resources, and guidance on equipment, volunteering, and team administration. Coaches can access application requirements, training, and development materials, while families can find information about fees, refunds, financial assistance, scholarships, and player evaluations. The association also shares concussion information and promotes respectful participation through resources such as Respect in Sport and True Sport principles.

SCRA hosts tournaments, including the Ava Esposito Memorial Tournament and the Ring in the Holidays Tournament, and publishes news, events, important dates, and sponsor information. Based in southwest Calgary, the association connects local players and families with ringette opportunities and community support.
