The Mulberry Community is a specialist care provider and part of Integrum Care Group, supporting adults with complex and long-term care needs across East and West Sussex. It brings together three homes: Mulberry House and Southdowns in St Leonards-on-Sea, and Cavell House in Shoreham-by-Sea. Across these homes, residents can receive residential and nursing care, dementia support, specialist care for acquired or traumatic brain injuries, neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, cognitive impairment, and other complex needs. Selected homes also provide respite and palliative care, as well as support for people who may need additional behavioural assistance.

Care is tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences and routines, with a focus on dignity, independence, wellbeing and quality of life. Teams work with residents and families to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment, adapting care as needs change. Mulberry House has 68 resident places, Southdowns has 50 beds, and Cavell House has 46 beds. Cavell House offers nursing and respite care near the coast, while Southdowns and Mulberry House are located in St Leonards-on-Sea.
