Southend SEND Independent Forum (SSIF) is an independent forum supporting parent carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Southend. Its aim is to make information about available services clearer and help families understand how to access support. The forum brings parent-carer experiences to discussions about local services, boards and decisions, acting as a critical friend to raise concerns and promote realistic, fair improvements.
