Southern Cross Ceremonies Wayne Cooper

Southern Cross Ceremonies is the celebrant service of Wayne Cooper, a professionally trained civil marriage celebrant and Justice of the Peace based in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. With an experienced, compassionate and good-humoured approach, Wayne works with clients to create personal ceremonies that reflect their wishes, from simple elopements to elaborate celebrations. He serves Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast, and is willing to travel elsewhere.

Services include marriage ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies and renewals of vows. Couples can draw on sample ceremonies, readings, verses and vow options, or develop their own ceremony with Wayne’s guidance. Professional sound equipment is provided to help guests hear every word. Naming ceremonies are tailored for newborns or older children and can include a ceremony copy and certificates for the child and their guardians or godparents. Wayne also offers Elvis Presley-themed weddings and vow renewals, creating customised ceremonies that bring the King into the celebration.
