Southern Sprinters Elite

Southern Sprinters Elite is a track and field club based in Maryland that has supported amateur athletes since 2017. Its mission is to help athletes pursue their potential in a positive environment focused on fitness, wellness, personal development, and self-belief. The club trains youth ages 5–18 for indoor and outdoor track seasons, and welcomes athletes of all ages to speed clinics, weight training, and small-group training sessions.

Athletes can join one of two pathways: the Practice Squad, which develops speed, endurance, and track strength without competition, or the Developmental and Elite Squads, which compete at national and international levels. Southern Sprinters competes locally in the DMV area, nationally across several states and Puerto Rico, and internationally in Canada and the Bahamas. Training options include off-season monthly plans and drop-in sessions. Beyond regular practices, the club provides tailored homework for families and guidance on nutrition and hydration, with access through community partnerships to specialists such as nutritionists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and recovery therapy providers.
