About Knights of Columbus
Knights of Columbus South Hills Council 3084 is a Catholic men’s fraternal organization serving Pittsburgh’s South Hills. Founded in 1948, the council supports four parishes across local municipalities and townships, with meetings and activities based at St. John Capistran Church, part of Resurrection Parish, in Bethel Park. Its work brings faith, brotherhood, and service together through charitable projects, parish support, and opportunities for members to grow in fellowship and spiritual life.
Council initiatives include support for seminarians, the Bishop’s Project, Miraculous Medal relief, the Seton LaSalle Chapel Project, and the Grace Gaita Memorial Scholarships. Members also organize a spaghetti dinner and Knights Coffee, and take part in activities such as nocturnal adoration, golf, and Knight Night of Knights. The council shares news, prayer requests, events, and information about joining, while connecting members with the wider Knights of Columbus community in Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania. Men interested in Catholic service and fraternity can learn about membership and council activities through Council 3084.
