South River Customs

South River Customs is a home technology and remodeling business founded by Zachary Cohen in 2018. Based in Edgewater, Maryland, the company serves customers in the greater Annapolis area, combining smart home expertise with fine remodeling and woodworking. Its smart home services include designing and installing solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, preferences, budget, and specifications.

The company emphasizes a straightforward, customer-focused process, with no upselling, guidance throughout the project, and time to teach customers how to use their systems. It also offers ongoing support, including training and technical assistance. South River Customs says the products it installs and techniques it uses are first tested in the owner’s home, with the aim of providing practical, quality results.

For remodeling projects, its capabilities range from custom fine woodworking to kitchens, decks, and patios. Whether improving a home with connected technology or updating its spaces through remodeling, South River Customs works to help customers achieve results that suit their homes and priorities
