Our mission is to make gardening approachable for everyone by providing high-quality, open-pollinated seeds. We believe in sustainable food production and regenerative agriculture, and we are committed to empowering our customers and fostering a connection with nature, food, and community.

At Sow True Seed, we offer a wide range of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds, as well as bulbs and live plants. Our products are carefully selected from known and trusted seed farmers, with a commitment to organic seed whenever possible. We also support local and regional organizations through our Annual Donation Program and Sponsorship Program, aiming to increase access to fresh food and educate communities.

With a focus on pollinator-friendly gardening, we offer a variety of seeds that create year-round habitats for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. We also provide educational resources through our blog, catalog, and classes, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity and skills to grow their own food. In addition, we advocate for seed saving to secure our seed system and promote genetic diversity in seed.

By growing open-pollinated varieties and saving your seeds, you contribute to food security and the preservation of heirloom varieties. We offer seed saving products for sale and conduct workshops to encourage gardeners to collect and save their own seeds. Founded in 2009, Sow True Seed was created by Carol Koury, a lifelong gardener and food activist, with the vision of preserving our botanical heritage and promoting a sustainable economy.
