Sozialstation Neuburg-Schrobenhausen e.V.

Sozialstation Neuburg-Schrobenhausen e.V. is a nonprofit home-care provider serving people who need support and their families in the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district, including Schrobenhausen, Neuburg and Burgheim. Founded in 1975 after beginning as a care initiative in 1974, the organization has more than five decades of experience and is affiliated with Caritasverband for the Diocese of Augsburg. Its goal is to help people remain in their familiar homes for as long as possible while easing the demands on family caregivers.

The Sozialstation provides individualized ambulatory care tailored to each person’s needs and wishes. Services include basic personal care, help with dressing, bathing, positioning, meals and incontinence care, as well as treatment nursing prescribed by a physician. This can include wound care, dressing changes, injections, medication support, catheter changes, enemas, and blood-sugar and blood-pressure checks. The organization also offers guidance for relatives and household assistance for patients receiving basic care. Its qualified staff support people living with long-term illness, recovering after hospital stays or experiencing other care needs, combining practical help with a considerate, person-centered approach.
