The Société Lorraine Protectrice des Animaux (SLPA) is a dedicated organization focused on the welfare of animals in need. Operating in the Lorraine region, SLPA provides a safe haven for abandoned pets through their shelters in Amance and Velaine-en-Haye. Their mission revolves around rescuing and caring for animals coming from precarious situations, including those from municipal pounds.

The organization is committed to finding loving homes for these animals, ensuring that they are adopted into safe and caring environments as quickly as possible. SLPA not only advocates for animal adoption but also actively fights against cruelty towards animals in all its forms. Additionally, they support low-income individuals in maintaining companionship with their pets, emphasizing the importance of animals in our lives.

With opportunities to donate, volunteer, or adopt, SLPA encourages community involvement to further its mission. Connect with them through social media or their newsletter to stay informed and support their cause.
